Alberta Wildfire information unit manager Christie Tucker talked about the three components that make up a fire: topography, weather conditions and fuels such as trees and grasses. She said the weather, in particular the high winds, was a big factor when the fires first flare up last week and how cooler, more humid conditions are helping crews on the ground get ahead.
