Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke doubled down on Friday following the announcement from Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth that the city should continue with the transition to a municipal force, saying the current council's decision has not changed on keeping the RCMP. She said this decision shows her that Farnworth is more concerned about politics than public safety.
