Speaking to reporters in Ottawa on Tuesday, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Melanie Joly outlined how Canada is working with other nations, particularly European allies, to safely evacuate Canadian citizens from Sudan. Joly also spoke on the difficult lessons learned during Canada’s evacuation from Afghanistan, and how those lessons are being applied now.
