A rare hybrid solar eclipse over remote Australia and Indonesia drew thousands on Thursday to witness the event. In Western Australia, astronomy fans and enthusiasts from around the world traveled to Exmouth, a tiny beachside town roughly 1,200 kilometers from state capital Perth, to witness the total solar eclipse.
