The closure of a slaughterhouse south of Quebec City is set to cost the region around 1,000 jobs. Meat producer Olymel announced it will shutter its pork plant in the town of Vallée-Jonction by the end of the year. A move it calls inevitable due to a labour shortage, inflation, and changing markets. Global National's Mike Armstrong reports.
