Almost half of Hydro-Quebec’s clients on the Island of Montreal remain without power. But people living in Westmount are some of the fortunate ones. The on-island suburb has its own power grid – independent of Hydro-Quebec – and it played a big role in helping to keep the lights on for residents. Global’s Amanda Jelowicki has the details.
