Ottawa to create federal framework to support autistic Canadians

There’s unanimous support in Ottawa for an initiative to help people on the autism spectrum. Edmonton-area MP Mike Lake sponsored a bill which would see Canada adopt a federal autism framework. Lake has been advocating for people with autism and their families for decades – it’s a cause that hits close to home. He joined Global News at Noon Edmonton with his son Jaden to share more about this major milestone and how it will impact people on the autism spectrum.
