Artificial turf: finding a balance between ecology and the needs of vulnerable groups

The future of a natural grass soccer field is splitting a community in the Côte-Des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-De-Grâce borough. Officials want to convert the grass to artificial turf to increase the playing longevity and improve the conditions for soccer players. But some residents want it left as natural grass.
