Former Vancouver mayor wins $100K in libel suit launched by opponents

Former Vancouver mayor Kennedy Stewart has been awarded more than $100,000 to cover legal costs following an unsuccessful libel suit launched by political rivals the Non-Partisan Association. The NPA sued Stewart over a news release denouncing hate and extremism within the party.
