Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino commented on Tuesday about Ontario Premier Doug Ford denying his government abandoned Ottawa during last year’s convoy crisis. Ford’s comment was regarding the report by Justice Paul Rouleau. Asked if he agreed with Ford’s comments, Mendicino said there had been contact with the province of Ontario throughout the convoy, and there were “challenges and pressures” but the provincial and federal governments “found a way to make it work.”
