Global News first reported earlier this week about how some members of Montreal’s Anglophone Deaf community are unable to access interpretation services. A temporary freeze in funding has amounted to cuts in services from American Sign Language interpreters. The organization funding the service has run out of money. As Global’s Felicia Parrillo reports, there are growing calls for the service to be reinstated and for more funding to be allocated to the essential service.
