Some of the communities surrounding Calgary have seen the biggest growth in all of Canada in recent years. Cochrane and Airdrie are the only two Alberta communities that made the top 25 list with the highest rate of population growth between 2016 and 2021, but school construction isn’t keeping up. As Carolyn Kury de Castillo reports, the chair of the Rocky View School Division says they are facing a space crisis.
