In her budget speech Tuesday, Finance Minister Katrine Conroy says the B.C. government will invest in affordable housing for everyday people. She says they plan to upgrade older rental buildings and add thousands of rental homes. They have also introduced the Renters Rebate as a $400 credit for those who make less than $60K a year.
