Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday that Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected light tactical vehicles (MRAP) supplied by Canada would arrive in Haiti “in the coming days” and that the government would deploy Navy vehicles off the Haitian coast. Trudeau also announced $1.8 billion to strengthen border and maritime security across the Caribbean.
