U of L cancels controversial lecture Frances Widdowson, speaker still presenting on campus

The University of Lethbridge is trying to distance itself from controversial speaker Frances Widdowson, who was scheduled to deliver a public lecture on campus this week. The U of L now says her viewpoints conflict with several of its institutional values surrounding Truth and Reconciliation. But as Jaclyn Kucey reports, the lecturer argues efforts to cancel her talk challenge the freedom of academia.
