Burnaby Mounties are reminding deal hunters to be wary of online marketplace offers that seem to good to be true after one buyer was scammed out of thousands by a fake Rolex. Police say the man paid $10,000 for what he though was a Rolex Wimbledon watch and certificate of authenticity on Craigslist, but when he had it appraised, it turned out to be a counterfeit.
