In the U.S., this weekend marks 50 years since the Supreme Court ruled in favour of Roe v Wade, giving women the constitutional right to an abortion. The same right that was struck down by the now Conservative-leaning court’s majority last year. Now the anniversary is being marked by pro-life protests across the country while being met by pro-choice counter-protests as the battle over abortion rights in America continues.
