Peterborough police are investigating after a pickup truck reportedly fled the scene of a crash on Lansdowne Street East on Wednesday evening. Around 7 p.m. emergency crews responded to the crash at the intersection of Willowcreek Boulevard where they found a downed pedestrian traffic signal and a road sign. The pickup was not at the scene. A short time later, police located a pickup truck with front-end damage in a driveway of a Foxmeadow Road home. A van parked on the road also had extensive rear-end damage. The pickup was towed from the scene. Police have yet to comment on their investigation.
