New study found breastfeeding babies can offset risk of asthma from antibiotics

New research out of BC Children’s Hospital is showing one more benefit of breastfeeding. In their study, researchers found that breastfeeding protected the gut health of babies substantially, in particular when they had to be given antibiotics. And as Aaron McArthur explains, this might give babies a defense against developing asthma.
