Premier David Eby announced a new housing initiative in partnership with the City of Vancouver on Wed., Dec. 14, 2022, to provide modular housing for people living in tent encampments on Hastings and CRAB Park in the Downtown Eastside. The two sites will be equipped with 24/7 support and are scheduled to open in March 2023.
