The world’s longest-running wildlife survey will take place this weekend. The Christmas Bird Count was first held in Edmonton in 1955, and since then Edmontonians have shown great enthusiasm for the event. Global News at Noon Edmonton sat down with Nature Alberta’s Steph Weizenbach to talk about the citizen science project and give a preview of some of the species that could be spotted.
