First-year engineering students put their educations to good use on Thursday night, showing off inventions meant to reduce or mitigate the effects of climate change. The result was some pretty impressive gadgets that just might be on store shelves soon. Kimberly Davidson explains. FIRST YEAR UBCO ENGINEERING STUDENTS PUT THEIR *EDUCATIONS* TO GOOD USE LAST NIGHT - SHOWING OFF INVENTIONS MEANT TO REDUCE OR MITIGATE THE EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE.
