During Thursday’s session of question period in the House of Commons, Liberals were also asked about an investigation by the Department of National Defence (DND). This investigation looked into contracts previously awarded to a firm that now has reported ties to the Chinese government, as concerns of foreign interference in Canada grow. After being questioned about this, Liberal MP Pam Damoff said as soon as this information came to light, the contract was terminated.
