New exhibit at Saskatoon’s Western Development Museum explores Pion-Era
Description
December 7, 2022
Joan Kanigan, CEO of Saskatoon's Western Development Museum spoke on Wednesday about a new exhibit exploring Saskatchewan's Pion-Era events of the past. Kanigan said that inspiration for the exhibit came after curators uncovered archival photos of Pion-Era featuring participants who were uncredited. Project curators then reached out to the Chief and Council at Whitecap Dakota First Nation for their help to identify the people captured in history.
