Demerged cities on the island of Montreal are facing a substantial jump in their share of the Montreal budget increase. They’ll be taking on an 8 per cent increase while Montreal’s share is only 2 per cent. It’s an annual complaint from the suburbs but no one seems to know how to solve the problem.
