It’s a day soccer fans have had circled on their calendars.
Team Canada played its first match of the World Cup on Wednesday, marking its first appearance in the tournament in 36 years.
There was plenty of support and national pride in the Peterborough region as dozens of people packed into bars to cheer on Team Canada.
