The statistics are alarming. Thirty-thousand Canadians die every year from lung cancer. It is the single deadliest cancer and more than 50 per cent of patients have never smoked or had quit prior to their diagnoses. Lung cancer patient and advocate Tim Monds and medical oncologist and president of Lung Cancer Canada Dr. Stephanie Snow joined Global News Morning to talk about the disease and how you can support those battling it.
