Okanagan bear not yet ready for hibernation
Description
November 2, 2022
While we know bears are getting close to hibernating for winter, there are some area bruins still clinging, and playing, onto the season.
Take this bear in Summerland.
He was spotted by Global Okanagan viewers Bob and Wendy Archer on Tuesday afternoon.
After trying to climb a wooden fence and checking out highway traffic for a bit, he went to play with an orange snow fence on the property for several minutes.
Clearly not yet ready for hibernation.
