The City of Saskatoon’s Director of Community Standards Matt Grazier spoke on Wednesday about a pilot project that equips Parking Services officers with body cams. Grazier says the presence of body cams helps diffuse verbal and physically abusive situations thereby creating a safer environment for officers to work. Although the sample group is small, Grazier says they are pleased with the results and they hope to expand the cost-effective program.
