October 31, 2022
Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce spoke Monday after tabling legislation at Queen’s Park that would impose a contract on education workers represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). He said the government made the decision to introduce back-to-work legislation after CUPE “failed to make any substantial concessions” during negotiations.
