Researchers are hoping the death of a humpback whale off the coast of Vancouver Island will serve as a learning opportunity. Experts say whales usually sink to the bottom of the ocean when they die, so it’s unusual for one to wash ashore and even rarer for someone to find it and alert authorities. Kylie Stanton reports.
