Olive has Rett Syndrome, a rare, severe, and progressive disorder that affects mostly girls. It impacts their ability to speak, walk, eat, or breathe easily. Occupational therapy and physiotherapy is hard to access in Vernon, so Variety stepped in to help send her to Calgary for an intensive two-week therapy session which has made a big difference in her life.
