The province’s police watchdog is releasing more information about the investigation into the fatal stabbing of a Burnaby RCMP officer Tuesday. Constable Shaelyn Yang died following an altercation with a man living in a tent — in a park on Canada Way. Today, the IIO says it believes the suspect was shot with Yang’s gun but can’t say how many shots were fired. Grace Ke reports.
