Speaking in Stanford, Calif., on Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warned that a hypothetical Chinese act of aggression against Taiwan could trigger a global crisis in the manufacture and distribution of semiconductors. Blinken added that there is hope the Chinese government will work to see that any “differences are peacefully resolved.”
