A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night between Port Hope and Cobourg.
Emergency crews responded just before 9 p.m. to County Road 2 and Apple Orchard Road in Hamilton Township.
Northumberland OPP say the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to reports, three vehicles had front-end damage, and there were allegedly multiple witnesses to the incident.
A section of County Road 2 was closed for several hours.
The investigation continues and OPP are appealing to witnesses to contact them.
