A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital for minor injuries after a car drove into a corn field in Port Hope Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to Dale Road and Sylven Glen Road around 10:30 p.m. for a single vehicle collision.
Reports say a vehicle was driving north on Cranberry Road when it missed a turn on Dale Road and kept driving through the intersection into a corn field.
A witness to the incident went to help the woman before paramedics arrived and transported her to hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Northumberland OPP.
