During Wednesday’s session of question period in the House of Commons, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh discussed grocery price inflation, and asked Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland what the Liberal government is doing to combat corporate “greed” as large corporations continue to make great profits. Freeland recapped the feds’ increase in taxes for large corporations and the luxury tax on certain high-ticket items, such as yachts and vehicles over $100,000.
