Two people died after a seven-storey building under construction collapsed in Nigeria’s commercial capital Lagos in the early hours of Sunday, with rescue efforts underway to find survivors, according to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency. “The top floor fell first,” eyewitness Segun Awokoya said. “We were all trapped inside the lodge with dust everywhere, we couldn’t breathe.”
