‘It’s part of everybody’s history’: CNE’s post-pandemic return revives multi-generational traditions

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is back in Toronto after a two-year pandemic hiatus, and with its return, small businesses that struggled throughout the closure. “As much as this is a generational business for me and a family business, it’s also something that is an experience that generations have gone to the CNE and enjoyed,” said Sam Scanga, the owner of several food booths.
