Nisga’a Nation in Scotland to request return of totem pole

Members from the Nisga’a Nation met with officials in Scotland Monday in their efforts to repatriate a totem pole. It will be the first time the delegation team will see the memorial pole with their own eyes – after the First Nation says it was stolen almost a century ago by a colonial ethnographer.
