Winnipeg city councillor Kevin Klein announced funding on Wednesday for improving three city parks in the southwest. John Steel Park will receive new pathways, new soil and sod. Work on Swindon Oaks Park will go towards replacing asphalt paths throughout the park. Renewal at Beauchemin Park will replace aging swings and other site implements.
