Cap-St-Jacques beach closed due to bacterial contamination

The beach and nature park at Cap-Saint-Jacques closed on Saturday due to high bacterial contamination. Officials from the CIty of Montreal agreed with Quebec’s Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change to close the beach after samples were taken earlier this week and showed the water quality did not meet bacterial quality standards.
