Global’s Brittany Greenslade spoke to Kate Evans, prevention and education consultant with the Addictions Foundation Manitoba, on Thursday about the surprising number of young people seeking help from AFM because of cannabis. Evans said that cannabis experimentation before the age of 25 could be harmful to brain development. The use of cannabis isn’t the only concern as alcohol consumption and dependency continue to be an issue.
