Parents seem to be divided after the Ministry of Education’s announcement Monday that said masking will continue to be optional at schools this September.
For some, the announcement may not seem odd, as mask mandates in many settings have been lifted across the province for quite a while. For others, it’s a concern for increased COVID-19 transmission.
