Ontario’s Minister of Health Sylvia Jones has sent the Ontario College of Physicians and Nurses and the College of Nurses of Ontario a directive to come up with a plan to speed-up international certifications. While the staffing crunch has become a major issue in recent months, the certification backlog has existed for a long time. Matthew Bingley reports.
