Steve Bannon, a longtime ally of former President Donald Trump was convicted Friday of contempt charges for defying a congressional subpoena from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol. He spoke to reporters outside the Washington courthouse about the verdict and the "bulletproof" appeal process he intends on pursuing. "We may have lost the battle, but we're not going to lose this war," he said.
