The president and CEO of Rogers Communications has apologized for a serious network outage that disrupted service for more than 10 million Canadians. Hundreds of firefighters are trying to stem the tide of the Washburn Wildfire in Yosemite National Park, but high winds are fueling the rapid growth of the flames…and threatening some of the oldest trees in the world. And overlooked for too long: on Saturday the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, paid tribute to the men of the No. 2 Construction Battalion, Canada’s only all-Black unit in the First World War.
