Students and teachers across Nova Scotia are celebrating the first ever “Black Excellence Day” — an opportunity for schools to celebrate the achievements of Black students, and there are many to choose from. As Ashley Field reports, that’s according to one resource teacher, who’s made it her job to make her students feel excellent each and every day.
