Monkeypox: 26 confirmed cases in Quebec, Ontario, officials recommend physical distancing

Canada's deputy chief public health officer Dr. Howard Njoo said during a news conference on Thursday that 25 cases of monkeypox in Quebec and one case in Ontario have been confirmed. These are the first known cases of monkeypox in Canada, he added. Njoo said symptoms of monkeypox include skin rash, fever, headache, muscle ache, exhaustion and swollen lymph nodes.
