Several taken to hospital after Peterborough townhouse fire

Several people were taken to hospital following a townhouse fire overnight.
Emergency crews were called to Peter Robinson Place townhouses on George Street near Parkhill Road around 12:30 a.m. and found smoke and flames coming from one of the units.
Several people on scene said the occupants jumped from a second floor window to escape the blaze.
The cause of the fire is unclear at this time.
It’s believed the building was without power when the fire broke out.
